aka Heart of Stone. A Rags to Riches Tale. Monica is a vagrant who lives in poverty in a shack with her stepfather, an alcoholic who sexually abuses her. By day, Monica begs for alms by the roadside and by night she returns home to be with her stepfather. One day a rich, bored and perverse couple Marco and Irene, noticed Monica on the street and decide to adopt her. Monica is brought back to the couple's posh mansion and suddenly her life is transformed from poverty to unbridled luxury and riches. She rides horses with Marco's son Paolo and have sex with Irene, the stable groom and Paolo. Day by day, Monica grows more and more ambitious. With a heart of stone and with no gratitude, Monica schemes to get rid of Irene to have Marco and Paolo all to herself.
